What is a Lash Lift? A lash lift curls your lashes from the root to the tip, making their full length visible. Every lash has its own natural shape, and this process enhances that shape using a small curling rod and lifting solution. The procedure is performed with your eyes closed to prevent any solution from getting into them, but the product does contain some chemicals. A lash lift should always be performed by a licensed professional. What is the Lash Lift Process Like? Each treatment begins with a thorough consultation to discuss the style you want for your lashes. Based on your preferences, the lash technician will select a suitable curling rod to shape your lashes. The technician will then cleanse the eye area and place a silicone rod on your eyelids. Your natural lashes will be lifted onto the rod using adhesive to hold them in place. Once everything is properly positioned, a setting solution is applied to shape the lashes around the rod. After that, a fixing solution is used to ensure the lashes retain their shape. The treatment takes approximately 45–60 minutes, and results last 4–6 weeks, depending on your lash growth cycle. You should avoid mascara for 48 hours after the treatment and refrain from touching your lashes for 24 hours. Keep your lashes free from makeup and water for 24 hours to ensure they maintain their shape. Once the lashes have settled, proper aftercare products can help keep them in perfect condition. We recommend using a lash oil to nourish and maintain your lashes. Does a Lash Lift Work on All Lash Types and Colors? Lashes can be long or short, but they must be at least 4mm in length to be eligible for the treatment. A lash tint is included as part of the service. The treatment lifts and darkens natural lashes, creating a balanced and effortless style for clients who want a natural “just woke up” look.
